Brad Pitt Gets Puppy Love at a Rescue Dog Adoption Event for “Heart of the Beast”

Brad Pitt has had a lot of attention for his latest film, but a different kind of fan stole the spotlight in Nashville. He got some serious puppy love at an adoption event celebrating his new film “Heart of the Beast,” and one pup even gave him a few kisses. NewsBreak

Rescue dogs on the red carpet

The film’s global premiere was unusual. It was free and open to the public, and held outside Nashville, in Franklin, Tennessee, rather than at an invite-only event in Los Angeles or New York. Paramount teamed up with Wags & Walks Nashville to spotlight adoptable big dogs, and rescue pups Trix, Noodle, Jenny and T-Rex walked the red carpet. The four dogs posed with Pitt before the screening began, and none had a role in the film. Brad Pitt Walked the ‘Heart of the Beast’ Red Carpet With Four Rescue Dogs – Ethos +2

The adoption event

The next day, the focus moved to forever homes. Pitt and Animal Coordinator Andrew Simpson joined Wags & Walks at a Big Dog Adoption Event at Copperline Ranch, where 14 dogs were celebrated. There was good news afterward. Trix and T-Rex have since found their forever homes. paramountparamount

About the film

In “Heart of the Beast,” Pitt plays Special Forces officer James Belmont, who is stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash. Beside him is Odin, his combat dog and closest companion, and together they must battle the elements and find a way home. Odin is played by a German Shepherd named Uber. J.K. Simmons also stars, and David Ayer directs. The film opened in theaters on September 25. Brad Pitt, J.K. Pitt on dogs

At the premiere, Pitt said he now has a third dog, adding, “Life’s just better with a dog.” That line comes from a smaller outlet, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed. celebbabylaundry

More dog-friendly events

The promotion didn’t stop in Tennessee. At a special screening at Silverspot Cinema in downtown Miami on September 19, dogs were officially on the guest list. dogster

About Wags & Walks

Wags & Walks has locations in Los Angeles and Nashville, and the Nashville team works largely to save dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages from overcrowded and under-resourced shelters in the South. aol

Thinking about adopting?

This is general advice, not from the reports. Before adopting, think about your space, your schedule and the dog’s needs. Many local shelters and rescues have dogs waiting, and their staff can help match you with one.

Bottom line

A movie star, four rescue dogs, a free premiere, and at least two dogs that found homes. It’s a rare Hollywood moment where the dogs got top billing.
