Another chapter in one of reality TV’s longest-running feuds played out this weekend. At Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, on Saturday, October 24, a fan asked Bravo executive Andy Cohen about Bethenny Frankel returning to “The Real Housewives of New York City.” entertainmentnow
What Cohen said
In one video, he joked that he wasn’t “really active on TikTok” when asked about bringing Frankel back. The remark is a reference to her frequent TikTok videos. jingletree
How Frankel responded
She didn’t let it go. “Well, Andy Cohen took a swipe at me on a panel, so let’s take the bait,” she said in a TikTok video. She said he’s “still sitting in the same place I left him.” She also posted on Instagram on October 25. She talked about her future on the franchise, her career outside Bravo, and E!’s “The Golden Life.” Bethenny Frankel calls out ‘bitter’ Andy Cohen in fiery video rant: ‘He lost all his OGs’ – Jingletree +3
The background
This isn’t new. In January, Cohen called Frankel’s TikTok videos “suffocating.” The tension goes back further. Frankel appeared in an ABC News special called “Reality Reckoning?” and contributed to a Vanity Fair exposé published just before BravoCon 2023. Bravo and Cohen have denied the claims. In December 2023, Frankel softened her tone, saying she found Cohen “very pleasant, very charming, very amusing.” Bethenny Frankel calls out ‘bitter’ Andy Cohen in fiery video rant: ‘He lost all his OGs’ – Jingletree +3
Fans are split
Several fans rushed to Cohen’s defense in Frankel’s comments section. One comment defending Cohen got more than 900 likes, while another fan wrote, “Where did Bethenny lie?!” The debate seems to revolve around who owes more to whom. jingletreeparade
Has Cohen responded?
I found no new public response from Cohen to her latest comments.
Will she return to RHONY?
Nothing in the reports I found says she’s returning or has been offered a role. Treat any claim about her “begging” or Bravo’s plans as unconfirmed.
Bottom line
A joke at a fan event led to a video response, and the feud continues. Nobody involved has announced a return.
