Kris Jenner reportedly erupted while filming The Kardashians after learning that her decades-old affair was discussed in a new biography about daughter Kim Kardashian.
According to author Jonathan Van Meter, the momager wanted to know why the book included a relationship from more than 30 years ago.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Van Meter recalled Kim contacting him late at night after hearing about her mother’s reaction. Kim reportedly had been at her sister Khloé Kardashian‘s house, where she learned about her mother’s reaction.

Van Meter said Kim told him her mother had been yelling about the biography, Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, which is scheduled for release on October 27.
“Why did Kim drag us all into this? Why is my affair from 30 years ago in the book?” Kris allegedly shouted, according to the author’s account.
During a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Kris addressed her infidelity after Khloé asked her the reason.
“I think that I fell into a situation where I thought that the grass was greener somewhere else,” Kris said at the time.

Kris also acknowledged the consequences of her decision, saying, “And I made a huge mistake.”
She added, “That’s like my life’s biggest regret.”
