or those of us who grew up watching television in the late ’70s and ’80s, Jaclyn will always be Kelly Garrett on Charlie’s Angels. Alongside Farrah Fawcett and Kate Jackson, she helped make the series one of the biggest hits on television. With her beautiful smile, dark hair and natural elegance, Jaclyn became one of the decade’s most recognizable women. She was also the only Angel to remain with the show for all five seasons, from 1976 to 1981.
After Charlie’s Angels, Jaclyn continued finding success in television movies and miniseries, including Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy (1981), Rage of Angels (1983), and The Bourne Identity (1988). She also became a successful businesswoman, launching her clothing collection with Kmart in 1985, years before celebrity fashion lines became commonplace. Her collections helped make her a familiar name to women who had grown up watching her on television.
Away from Hollywood, Jaclyn has been married to heart surgeon Brad Allen since 1997, and she has two children, Gaston and Spencer, from her third marriage to cinematographer Tony Richmond. She’s also a proud grandmother and has spoken about how much she enjoys spending time with her family. Over the years, Jaclyn has remained close to her fellow Angels, particularly Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd, and has continued honoring the memory of Farrah Fawcett, who passed away in 2009.
