closed for inspections.
Audio obtained by FOX5 Vegas captured controllers checking on the aircraft, directing another plane away from the affected area and arranging assistance.

“We got the emergency vehicles on the way now,” a controller said during one exchange.
The recordings document the immediate response, but they do not establish what caused the crew to abandon takeoff.
The airport imposed a ground stop at 12:50 p.m. It was lifted by 2:30 p.m., and airport officials subsequently confirmed that both runways had reopened following inspections.
Wahlberg says the pilots ‘saved our lives’
Hours after the incident, Wahlberg shared an Instagram video reassuring followers that he and the people traveling with him were safe.
“We were taking off and didn’t get up in the air and ran out of runway,” he explained. “I’m just going to tell you these pilots saved our lives.”
He said the jet struck a fence but avoided heavy airport vehicles and equipment along its path.

Wahlberg also recalled praying before looking outside and realizing the flight would not leave the ground.
In his accompanying caption, he explained that he initially recorded the update for family and friends. After receiving concerned messages, he decided to share it publicly with fans.
“It was me and my team/friends onboard the aircraft,” he wrote, describing an intense experience that felt much longer than it lasted.
“The airplane did take some lumps — but we did not,” he added.
Wahlberg thanked the pilots and emergency personnel in Las Vegas. His wife, Jenny McCarthy, responded to the post with a message of gratitude: “God is so good!!!!”
Aviation expert describes the challenge of stopping the jet
Speaking to News 3 Las Vegas, pilot and aviation expert Reed Yadon estimated that the aircraft could have been traveling close to 150 mph when the takeoff was rejected.
That figure was his assessment, rather than a confirmed speed released by investigators.
Yadon praised the handling of the emergency and explained that an examination could consider both mechanical issues and human factors. Maintenance records, crew training records, cockpit audio and airport security footage could help reconstruct the sequence of events.
The cause remained undetermined in the supplied reports. The National Transportation Safety Board told PEOPLE it had no information to share at that time.
Flight followed Wahlberg’s Las Vegas performance
The incident occurred the morning after Wahlberg performed with New Kids on the Block at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
The October 17 concert marked the final show of the group’s scheduled October residency dates. The following morning, Wahlberg boarded the private aircraft for Toronto Pearson Airport.
Before the attempted departure, he posted a photograph from his seat with the words, “His love is eternal.”
Afterward, his public update focused on relief, faith and appreciation for the people who helped everyone aboard leave the aircraft safely.
