“SNL U.K.” took a swing at Shane Gillis on Weekend Update, with Ania Magliano answering his on-air controversy with “You stupid fucking cunt.”
First came his monologue’s complaint that women at the gym “dress like whores now.” Magliano brought up a ride operator at Munich’s Oktoberfest who was praised for handing out free cycling shorts to female riders, giving them coverage under skirts and dresses to prevent upskirting.
She joked that the gym shorts would protect women from that, but leave them vulnerable to “something much worse.” Up popped Gillis’ photo.
Then she addressed his violation of NBC’s rules on swearing, taking advantage of her own show’s freedom to do it.
“Oh, Shane. You’re not allowed to say that, you stupid fucking cunt.”
