It is the latest instance in which Trump has vowed to follow through on his payment pledge — first announced during the GOP’s midterm convention last month.
In the new video, Trump did not share how the checks would be financed but has previously acknowledged they would cost roughly $1 trillion.
Earlier this month, he cited how he has secured $21 trillion in investment for the U.S. — though the White House website lists $11.2 trillion total.
“I always come through,” Trump said. “I never fail people. I always come through. I always get it done.”
Despite the president’s push, the checks have drawn mainly negative feedback among Americans in several recent polls, including some who believe they are inappropriate and others who doubt they will happen.
Asked whether the proposal is feasible, the president has compared his promise to the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act in July of last year and his $1,776 “warrior dividend” payouts to U.S. service members in December.
